Some reports have revealed that Facebook is developing a new device for video talks, but the giant social networking site after the Cambridge Analytics scandal decided to delay the plans, but it now appears that the device can be launched next week.
The device will be called the “Portal” and face recognition will be used to identify the user’s identity. Video calling will be the primary feature.
Another report claims that the new device will come with two monitors, the first 15 inches, and will cost $ 400, and the other 13 inches and the price of $ 300.
After the company’s privacy scandals, Facebook reportedly made some last-minute changes to Portal, including adding a privacy shutter to the front camera, and it was reported that the device would include Alexa’s audio assistant and that the company had offered the device to major retailers.
